Delightful news today! Deadline just announced the film adaptation of This Time Tomorrow, which I am writing for my pal director Jason Moore! All the details are in the link! But I am very very excited. Jason is a sweetheart, just directed J. Lo, is responsible for Anna Kendrick and her cups, is good with puppets, and according to his IMDB, also appeared on Dawson’s Creek, in addition to directing some Dawson’s Creek. He and I are going to have to have some deep talks about Pacey. Will report back. He’s also tall and handsome but let’s not objectify him, ok?
So, yes, please leave comments for your dream casting below!!! Eeeeeee!!!!!!
Other things: last night my girl Sloane Crosley came to Books Are Magic and we had a wonderful conversation and this is the creepy black glove that the folks at Book Soup gave her to house her rubber stamp. Bookstores—always full of surprises!
And here’s a stack of debuts that are on my summer reading pile! How to Fake It In Hollywood by Ava Wilder, Neruda on the Park by Cleyvis Natera, The Catch by Alison Fairbrother, and Counterfeit by Kirstin Chen. Can’t wait to read them. I have already read (and blurbed!) the Alison Fairbrother, which is wonderful, but I wanted to give it a special shout-out because Alison is also an editor at Riverhead, and she has read and offered excellent, thorough, incisive notes on my last two books. She can do it all!
That’s all for now! Hit me with all your fave choices for Alice and Leonard!
