Her death really did a number on me too, oof. A big part of that is because I had breast cancer and so did she and I’m still alive and she now isn’t. But also… Brenda Walsh! So iconic! And then I started thinking about how she and Luke Perry are both dead, which somehow made me think about Matthew Perry’s tragic death, and how crushing it is to lose these pivotal figures from my youth. I guess I always felt like celebrities were immortal in some way? It’s just so sad. Anyway, thanks for letting me word vomit in the comments. RIP Shannen. 💔
