How I survived a 22hr travel day
Is it weird that I didn't even clock Jeremy's cap on the first read and still thought it was totally plausible that you'd just be buoyed by the picture anyway??
Welcome to Melbourne! Sorry about the weather!! If you have time, I recommend: visiting Readings bookshop in Carlton, and stopping at Brunetti's across the road for a coffee, or eating pasta at Tiamo's; wandering down Gertrude Street in Fitzroy to look at the shops; checking out ACMI & NGV Australia at Federation Square, and/or NGV International on St Kilda Road; eating Thai food at Cookie or Magic Mountain Saloon; and drinking a cocktail at the Gin Palace. It's a bit out of town but Healesville Sanctuary is also pretty sweet!
“Double velour” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love long flights. ~ I relax. Read trashy magazines. Write a little. Watch movies. Eat potato chips without feeling guilty. 💗
Oddly enough, the only time I have ever grabbed the wrong luggage was returning from Australia with an orange suitcase. 🤷🏻♀️. I hope you have a fabulous time in Melbourne!
"headphone/sleeping mask combo that was wonderful" ???
Please share this magic's details!
(and have a lovely trip down under)
Wonderful! And I'm not even embarrassed how many times I've watched "Let Them All Talk."
Australia is so much better now you are here. Glad to see you have Timtams- they soothe my anxiety like nothing else. Enjoy your time!
Welcome to Australia! Have a wonderful time at the Festival, the line-up looks great. I'm looking forward to the Sydney version later this month.
Welcome to Australia. And yeah, the flight is horrible.
How did I miss “Let them all talk”?!?! Glad I am off today so I could watch it, WOW!!! I’m trying to figure out what backpack that is, no tags! Am in need of something like it, will you share the brand? Enjoy Australia!!
Okay, I would try explaining the Tim Tam Slam here, but as an American I would probably just embarrass myself.
I would love to take this flight someday! I’m still waiting to see the cover/ find out when & where I can get that anniversary edition of the Willa Cather book you mentioned in a previous post. Can anyone help me?
Well, that was fun. Hope you have a good time in Australia.
