Well I had no idea but this confluence makes so much cosmic sense! My first-ever trip to NYC - the one that convinced me to move here - was for the two fabulous nights of 69 Love Songs at Lincoln Center (Chelsey Johnson is a friend and gave us the heads up early enough to get seats right up front, one of the great thrills of my life to date); does that mean I bought a tee shirt from you? We'll be at the New York shows next year, too. <3

Aww, Emma...wishing you and Mike and the kids a great last summer 2023 hurrah before the hustle of the school term. I love the idea that you were “a bodyguard for people...” as well as being “very much of the audience.” As the first born of a lotta kids as well as oldest grandkid of many (35 I think) on my Mum’s side, and just because I’ve always been bookish and observant as well as protective, I relate to that role. A music recommendation for you. Charlotte cornfield- maybe you already know her. She’s also a huge Magnetic Fields fan and has a song by that name.
