Hi all!
Quick poll! Are you Zoomed out? Or would you Zoom for a good cause if it had a TRULY killer line-up of your literal favorite writers?
Ok, because I just figured out how to make a poll, here’s another.
Just so we’re clear ‘Emma, you’re 42’ is also a yes, and means that not only should I do it, but I should go absolutely crazy and buy the best seats I can afford.
What I’m reading:
I just got a galley of my friend Jasmine Guillory’s new book, Drunk on Love, which is out in September, and it’s delish. On track to be my fave of hers! It makes me want to move to Napa Valley and drink a lot of wine.
What I’m watching;
Our Flag Means Death. I can’t really handle my feelings for Taika. It seems unfair to be that handsome and that funny. What a hog! Also, getting so much more handsome with age! Love that.
All for now! Thanks to everyone who is posting pictures of their copies of This Time Tomorrow poolside and beachside and in generally vacation-adjacent locations. I also love pictures where the book is posing next to a cat, a dog, or a baby. Anyone have a goat? A llama? A horse? Let’s see it. Please continue to buy copies for your friends and family. Your enemies! Your lovers! Etc. You can always get personalized copies from Books Are Magic.
All for now! Smooches!
Quick Poll and a Few Good Things
Emma, I saw Harry in Dublin on June 22, and I swear that I have not been the same since. Actually life changing, definitely life affirming. GO GO GO, StubHub price be damned. Sincerely, a fellow 42 year-old. (I brought my 9 year-old and it also changed his life.)
Is there a way to organize an event that encourages recurring donations?
Recurring donations, even small ones, to organizations like abortionfunds.org (or better yet, your local fund) are the ticket to supporting women who need abortions. Recurring donations make it easier for organizations to plan and to hire needed staff.
