Those brownies with a big scoop of ice cream (coffee?) and an excellent book would make for the BEST afternoon...

I am absolutely devoted to Katherine Hepburn’s brownie recipe, but willing to give these a try based on your strong endorsement.

I’m actually on my own brownie journey and JUST wrote about this week’s batch for my newsletter. Can’t wait to try this recipe!

Regan Daley’s in the sweet kitchen is probably one of the most treasured cookbooks I own, most people have never heard of. Everyone of her recipes have been a successful hit. How is this possible? When you continue to come to recipes time and again, it’s a keeper. Her recipes are modern yet nostalgic, foolproof and surprisingly simple. Go to used books and get this now, you won’t regret it.

On behalf of M Palca, I bristle. But there is room for more than one BEST brownie in a multibrownielevel world, so, as far as Chewy goes, having tasted your generous swag at book signings, agreed.

No analysis needed. You were always more than enough…just knew how to show your fans some sweet appreciation for showing up. Merci mucho for the recipe.

It’s a very, very hot summer day and I can’t believe I am seriously considering to turn on the oven... but this sounds absolutely lovely!

Another guess, why you brought those brownies: so you didn’t need to eat the whole pan (ahem. Been there). For that, I have another solution: I make a tiny batch of a brilliant French recipe and bake it in two coffeemugs. Voilà! (Did I mention they are liquid inside?) 👌🏻

Let me know, if you’d like this recipe - I can’t link to it, cause it’s a secret. Maybe that makes it brilliant. That and also the good chocolate and butter.

I will try this! It's very similar to my favorite brownie recipe - Supernatural brownies by Nick Malgieri
